Microsoft Word Introduction

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the basic tools and features of Microsoft Word. Topics covered: key feature overview, creating documents, working with different views, Words automatic features, changing page setup, formatting documents, cut, copy and paste, using the proofing tools.

Microsoft Word Intermediate

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the intermediate tools and features of Microsoft Word. Topics covered: creating autotext entries, autocorrect, collecting and pasting text, creating and modifying tables, creating borders and shading, working with sections, working with columns, mail merge and styles.

Microsoft Word Advanced

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the advanced tools and features of Microsoft Word. Topics covered: advanced tables, customizing Word, creating basic macros, creating templates and forms, working with styles, working with outline numbered lists, adding pictures and other graphics.

Microsoft Excel Introduction

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the basic tools and features of Microsoft Excel. Topics covered: key feature overview, screen parts, using the toolbars, dialog boxes, working with the Office Assistant, moving between workbooks, creating and opening workbooks, moving around in a worksheet, entering data, working in the formula bar, creating basic charts, filling or copying cell contents, moving ranges of data, inserting rows/columns, operators in formulas, cell references in formulas, formatting worksheets, working with columns, freezing headings and printing worksheets.

Microsoft Excel Intermediate

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the intermediate tools and features of Microsoft Excel. Topics covered: Working with multiple workbooks, creating and modifying charts, chart formats, text charts, autofills, copying and pasting, range names, formulas, formatting cells and worksheets, conditional formats, creating styles, setting default options, creating Automatic Subtotals, validating data, basic database functionality in Excel, sorting and filtering data.

Microsoft Excel Advanced

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the advanced tools and features of Microsoft Excel. Topics covered: Autocomplete, automatic subtotals, database functions, sorting and advanced filtering, PivotTables, analyzing and auditing data, goal seeker, scenario manager, consolidating worksheets, importing and exporting data.

Microsoft PowerPoint Introduction

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the basic tools and features of Microsoft PowerPoint. Topics covered: PowerPoint screen, toolbars, PowerPoint views, creating a quick start presentation, using placeholders, working with text, text placeholders, editing features, outline view, creating charts, datasheets, formatting a chart, modifying a chart, preview/print, slide sorter view, slide show, working with color, drawing and adding ClipArt and pictures.

Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the intermediate tools and features of Microsoft PowerPoint. Topics covered: working with views, creating and managing slides, creating and modifying charts, working with datasheets, working with the slide master, running and customizing slide shows, working with organization charts and tables, using drawing tools, and adding clip art.

Microsoft PowerPoint Advanced

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the advanced tools and features of Microsoft PowerPoint. Topics covered: Principles of a good presentation, drawing and formatting shapes and autoshapes, positioning objects, working with the master slide, adding logos and page numbers, object linking and embedding, creating internet presentations, creating hyperlinks, working with the slide show, linking to the internet.

Microsoft Outlook

This course will enable end users to become familiar with the tools and features of Microsoft Outlook. Topics covered: Inbox sending and receiving mail, creating autosignatures, attaching files, working with sent items, recalling messages, out of office assistant, creating distribution lists, draft messages, working with the calendar, creating and modifying appointments, creating meeting requests, recurring appointments, working with contacts, creating and modifying contacts, integrating contacts, categorizing contacts, creating maps to contacts, creating folders, assigning permissions, working with tasks, creating and modifying tasks, assigning tasks, completing tasks, working with various views in Outlook, printing items.

Microsoft Access Introduction

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the basic tools and features of Microsoft Access for use with desktop applications. Topics covered: Identifying Database Components, Creating New Databases, Creating Tables Using Table Wizards, Working with Records, Setting Primary Keys, Setting Field Properties, Modifying Table Designs, Setting Relationships Between Tables, Creating Queries, Specifying Query Criteria, Adding Tables to Queries, Using Basic Forms, Locating Data, Using Basic Reports and Importing Data into Access.

Microsoft Access Intermediate

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the intermediate tools and features of Microsoft Access. Topics Covered: Using criteria in queries, using calculations in queries, using crosstab, action, and parameter queries, designing forms, designing reports, enhancing forms and reports, embedding objects in forms and reports, using subforms and sharing data.

Microsoft Access Advanced

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the advanced tools and features of Microsoft Access. Topics Covered: Designing applications, creating advanced controls, creating advanced objects, using macros, using Access VBA, creating switchboards, establishing security, using an AutoExec macro, testing and debugging applications, repairing and maintaining databases.

Microsoft FrontPage Introduction

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the basic tools and features of Microsoft FrontPage. Topics covered: getting started, working with text, using hyperlinks and graphics, adding page elements and tables, managing a web and using shortcuts.

Microsoft FrontPage Intermediate

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the intermediate tools and features of Microsoft FrontPage. Topics covered: Developing a Web, Exploring HTML, Designing Frames, Working with Forms, Working with Page Elements, Creating Dynamic Pages, Administering a Web, Publishing a Web.

Microsoft Project

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the tools and features of Microsoft Project. Topics covered: getting started, working with calendars, working with tasks, using task outlines, Working with resources, working with costs, examining overallocated resources, using the Gantt Chart, using the PERT Chart, working in calendar view, working with reports and using custom reports.

Interwoven Document Management

This course will enable end users to become familiar with the tools and features of Interwoven Document Management. Topics covered: document management overview, definition of terms, Interwoven window components, Workspaces, saving files, viewing documents, printing documents, Profiling and securing documents, checking in and checking out documents, importing and exporting documents, setting default profile fields, searching for files, saving and profiling e-mails, working with e-mail attachments.

Hummingbird DM Document Management

This course will enable end users to become familiar with the tools and features of Hummingbird Document Management. Topics covered: document management overview, definition of terms, DM window components, Workspaces, saving files, viewing documents, printing documents, profiling and securing documents, checking in and checking out documents, importing and exporting documents, setting default profile fields, searching for files, saving and profiling e-mails, working with e-mail attachments.

Worldox Document Management

This course will enable end users to become familiar with the tools and features of Worldox Document Management. Topics covered: document management overview, definition of terms, Worldox window components, saving files, viewing documents, printing documents, profiling and securing documents, checking in and checking out documents, importing and exporting documents, setting default profile fields, searching for files, saving and profiling e-mails, working with e-mail attachments.

Workshare DeltaView

This course will enable users to become familiar with the tools and features of Workshare's DeltaView document comparison program. Topics covered: overview of DeltaView, selecting documents for comparison, choosing a rendering set, working with compared documents, reviewing and saving the redline, e-mailing the redline, printing the redline.

Levit & James Products

We train and support several products manufactured by Levit & James including Crosswords (for converting WordPerfect documents to Microsoft Word), CrossEyes (the product that resembles WordPerfect's Reveal Codes), and Stylizer (for cleaning up and applying styles to Microsoft Word documents). As a general rule, clients purchasing these products are going through a WordPerfect to Word conversion and would require additional training on Microsoft Word and the procedures to convert and clean up a WordPerfect document.

Payne Consulting Products

We train and support several products developed by Payne Consulting such as their MetaData Assistant, Forms Assistant, and Numbering Assistant. We have had experience with their product at a variety of different firms in the area.

SoftWise MacroSuite Products

We train and support several products developed by SoftWise such as their MacroSuite and their Numbering suite.

WordPerfect Introduction

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the basic tools and features of WordPerfect. Topics covered: creating and saving documents, editing documents, using Reveal Codes, formatting documents, cut, copy and paste, find and replace, headers and footers, footnotes, bullets and numbering, quickcorrect, proofing tools.

WordPerfect Advanced

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the advanced tools and features of WordPerfect. Topics covered: creating templates, mail merge, working with columns and tables, creating basic macros, working with styles, working with graphics, sorting data.

QuickBooks

This course will enable end-users to become familiar with the advanced tools and features of Quickbooks. Topics covered: Key feature overview, overview of lists, adding/editing terms, chart of accounts, creating items, Quickbooks forms, customizing forms and layouts, account registers, setting up a company, entering data, historical transactions, customers/jobs, creating estimates, sales forms, receiving and depositing payments, accounts receivable/payable, working with the checkbook and credit cards, reconciling accounts, creating a budget.
